“I think the desert would be really cool,” Michael said. “I’ve always wanted to see those big red rocks and maybe even a cactus!”

Emma nodded. “Yeah, and we could go hiking and maybe even see some wild animals.”

John and Sarah started looking into desert destinations. “We could visit Zion National Park in Utah, Arches National Park, also in Utah, or maybe even Monument Valley on the Arizona-Utah border,” John suggested.

The family researched the different desert locations, comparing the unique features and activities each one offered.
