Coastal Adventures

“I think it would be really fun to visit a place near the ocean or a lake,” Emma said. “We could go swimming, build sandcastles, and maybe even see some tide pools!”

Michael nodded enthusiastically. “Yeah, and we could have a bonfire on the beach and look for seashells.”

John started looking into coastal destinations. “We could visit Cabrillo National Monument in San Diego, Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve, also in San Diego, or maybe even Point Lobos State Natural Reserve in Northern California,” he suggested.

The family researched the different coastal locations, comparing the unique features and activities each one offered.
