“I vote for nature!” Michael exclaimed. “I want to see some of the amazing landscapes I’ve learned about in school.”

Emma grinned. “Me too! It would be so cool to hike and explore in some of our country’s most beautiful places.”

John and Sarah were thrilled by their children’s eagerness to connect with nature. “Okay, let’s think about what kind of natural setting we want to experience,” Sarah said. “Do we want to explore the desert, the mountains, or maybe even a coastal area?”

The family started discussing the different types of landscapes and the activities they could enjoy in each one.
